Judy Kay Phinney

Judith “Judy” Kay Phinney, age 78, was called to her Heavenly home Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  Judy was born January 14, 1943 in Topeka, Kansas the daughter of Raymond and Evelyn (Jagars) Foster.  She grew up in Topeka, graduating from Topeka High School.  She worked at Duffens Optical in Topeka for many years.  She married Walter Gerald Dilley, they later divorced.  She married Donald Phinney, he preceded her in death.  Judy was a member of the Grace Chapel in Carbondale.  She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Corber.  She is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Kenneth) Suhr of Fayetteville, North Carolina; a sister Bonnie Royalty of Topeka; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Chapel in Carbondale, KS.  Visitation will be one hour before services from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the church.  Interment will be at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka.  Memorials may be made to the Grace Church in Carbondale and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home in Topeka.  davidsonfuneral.com
