Joyce C. Frazier, 83, of Topeka passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was born September 2, 1934 in Topeka the daughter of Clarence Wiscombe and Dorothy Wiscombe Deller. Joyce graduated from Curtis Junior High and later from Topeka High School in 1952. She married Frank Watson, he preceded her in death in 1955. She married Fred Feaker February of 1958, he preceded her in death in 1982. She then married Elwin “Al” Frazier May 5, 1993. He survives. Other survivors include her son, Barry (Tami) Feaker of Topeka; two step sons, Douglas (Shirley) Frazier of Edmond, Washington and Dennis Frazier of Marysville, WA; a brother, Jerry Wiscombe of Salmon, Idaho; two grandchildren and one great grandson. Joyce worked at the Shawnee County Juvenile Court and then for the Shawnee County Planning Department.
Joyce and Al lived in Salmon, Idaho and Alaska for a few years. She was a member of the North Topeka Historical Society, Curtis Junior High School Alumni Association, Paternal Order of Eagles Club, the Moose Lodge #555 and she volunteered at the Topeka Rescue Mission. She was involved in hosting/entertaining many different people and dignitaries from other countries in their home. She also served with the Red Cross assisting with local disaster areas. Joyce enjoyed all types of volunteering.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Davidson Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour before the services from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Private family interment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission.Monday, February 5, 2018
