Joshua "Josh" Lee Kalina, 20, of Topeka, KS, went home to God, Tuesday, April 24, 2007.
He was born July 18, 1986, in Topeka the son of Ronald and Judi Eichinger Kalina. Josh was raised in the Seaman School District and graduated from Hope Street Academy. For the past two years he had resided in San Antonio, TX with his grandparents. He returned to Topeka in November, 2006, to be with his family.
Josh had worked for Wright Tree Service.
Survivors include his mother, Judi Kalina and her companion Ron Bergquist; his father, Ronald Kalina; his brother, Jason Dale; his sister, Jamie Kalina and her companion Kurt Stockman; his nephew, Jeremiah Kalina; all of Topeka; his grandparents, Jack and Virginia Prindible; San Antonio, TX; Jimmie and Marilyn Eichinger; Vassar, KS; Sheryl Hopkins; Fairbury, NE; his dog, Bleu; and several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
Josh will lie in state after 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m., Monday, April 30, 2007, at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
