Joshua Darryl Aubert

On Friday June 7, 2019, Joshua Aubert, loving husband and father of five children, passed away at the age of 41 years-old.
Joshua was born on April 11, 1978 in Topeka, KS to Debra (Aubert) Miller and Scott Blevins, Sr. On March 23, 2011 he married Jamie (Litt) Aubert. They raised two sons and three daughters.
Joshua was a man of numerous attributes and talents. His hard work ethic was known by many, whether through his small business, Aubert's Handyman Service, or one of the several selfless acts he did for his family, friends or anyone who was in need of help. The ability to create solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems came to Joshua as second nature. To many he was perceived as the man who could do it all. And he could. Alongside his hard work ethic and knack for crafting solutions out of thin air, for both clients and family, Joshua was able to push his mind in countless directions. He was a talented artist, creating beautiful paintings; he was also a master of chess, placing nearly every opponent he faced in check within minutes; and he always did his best to try and understand everyone's perspective. He refused to give up on anyone. Notably though, Joshua followed his own path through life, coming to every conclusion on his own terms and forming a special bond with God that only he could understand.
Joshua is survived by his mother Debra; step-dad, Steve Miller; father, Scott Blevins, Sr.; his wife Jamie; his five children, Ashley, Timothy, Jesse, Cassie, Maree; his three brothers; three sisters and their spouses; four nephews; and three nieces.
A memorial to celebrate Joshua's life will be held on Saturday June 15, 2019 at Crestview Park Topeka, KS at 2 p.m. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket as seating will not be provided.
