Josephine “Josie” Lester, age 77 of Topeka passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her home in Topeka. Josie was born December 29, 1940 in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is survived by her husband, Laird Lester of Topeka; two daughters, Jean (Richard) Wolfley-Short of Topeka and Christina Rousser of Topeka; brother, Anthony (Karen) LaPaglia of Scranton, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Mary Caswell, Felice Serran and Anna Burnett, all of Scranton, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour before services at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Keene Cemetery. davidsonfuneral.com
