Joseph Dwayne Hare
Joseph Dwayne Hare, 34, Topeka, died Friday, March 18, 2016, at his home. He was born December 29, 1981, in Topeka, the son of Steven Russell and Dorothy Ann (McMullen) Hare.
Joe graduated from Seaman High School in 2000, and attended Kaw Tech. He had worked for Hare, Inc. and was owner of MHE Environmental.
Joe was married to Katie Ann Kilts on August 28, 2004, in Topeka.
Surviving are his wife: Katie Ann Hare of the home; two sons: Mason Russell Hare and Hunter Joe Hare both of the home; a daughter: Ellie Mae Hare of the home; his parents: Steven R. and Dorothy A. Hare of Topeka; a sister: Shelia K. Hare of Silver Lake; his grandparents: Charles and Norma McMullen and LeRoy Hare, Sr. (Frances Creiger), all of Topeka; mother-in-law: Darla Broadbent of Topeka; father-in-law: Chet Kilts of Delia; and his faithful companions: Rebel and Zeke. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carol Darlene (Johnson) Hare, on July 13, 2002.
Graveside interment of cremains will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Prairie Home Cemetery, NW 35th & Menoken Road, Topeka.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, Tuesday, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka.
