Joseph W. Adams

Joseph W. Adams, age 50, of Topeka, KS passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 in Bel Aire, KS.  Joe was born November 22, 1971 in Topeka, the son of Robert and Ruby (Huckins) Adams.  He graduated from Seaman High School with the class of 1990.  He later graduated from DeVry Technical Institute.  He married Cheryl Johnson April 20, 2000.  Joe worked as a cook at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  He also was a newspaper carrier for the Topeka Capital Journal.  He also worked as a manager of several fast-food restaurants.  He enjoyed watching the cooking channels on TV and the DIY shows also.  He enjoyed online gaming.  He was a member of the Family Life Church of the Nazarene.

Joe is survived by his wife, Cheryl of over 21 years; his mother, Ruby Adams of Topeka; a daughter, Emily (Cody) Schroeder of Enterprise, KS; his son, Patrick Adams of Topeka; a brother, Steven (Amber) Adams of Topeka; a sister, Bobbi (Shane) Fletchall of Topeka; a grandson, Westen; nieces and nephews, Tony, Garrett, Alyssia, Kyle, Shelby, Zack and Dalton; his best friend, Matt (Deb) McEnroe of Topeka; and an uncle, Joe Huckins.  Joe was preceded in death by his father, Robert Adams and his aunt, Willa Miller.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Family Life Church of the Nazarene.  Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will be at the Half Day Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be made to Westen S. Schroeder for his educational fund, sent in care of Davidson Funeral Home. Please notate "educational fund" in the memo.
