Jon Allen Garbe

Jon A. Garbe, age 73, of Topeka, passed away suddenly Monday, June 22, 2020 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  Jon was born April 8, 1947 in Yakima, Washington the son of Victor and Alice (Hornbeck) Garbe.  He graduated from high school in Springfield, Ohio.  He married Mary Lafferty May 14, 1976 in Springfield, Ohio.  Jon worked at Wenger Manufacturing in Sabetha for over 20 years.  Jon enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Jon is survived by his wife, Mary of Topeka; three sons, Jon Garbe of Dayton, OH, Frank (Jennie) Worthey of Humbolt, NE and Joseph (Pandy) Worthey of Humbolt, NE; four daughters, Brenda (Bo) Vieweg of Greer, South Carolina, Laura (Denis Wiser) Worthey of Topeka, Rosemary Worthey of Hiawatha, KS and Jamie (Juan) Jalil of Topeka; a sister, Vickie Wright of Springfield, OH; 28 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
