Johnny Dean Dodds, 47, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021.
He was born July 3, 1974, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Milton D. and Carolyn Sue (Degan) Dodds. He attended Topeka Public Schools.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn "Carol" Dodds; four brothers, Clint Dodds, Christopher Dodds, Adam Dodds, and Cory Dodds; three sisters Kim Dodds, Michelle Dodds, and Daina Dodds; his daughter whom he considered to be his heart, Alexandria "Love" Dodds and several nieces, nephews and cousins, all of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his father; Milton Dodds, his niece, Cheyenne Morrissey; his maternal grandparents, John and Luella Degan; and his paternal grandparents, Joe and Ludie Hester.
Johnny was an avid bible scholar being able to recite many verses with his uncle Frank. He enjoyed playing his harmonica, camping and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was always willing to give a gift to anyone even if you said "No, it's okay, you keep it", his response would always be, "I want you to have it".
