Johnnie S. Green, 49, of Topeka, passed away on July 16, 2023 at his home.
Johnnie was born on January 29, 1974 to John and Carolyn (Byrd) Green in Topeka, KS. He was a graduate of Topeka West High School in 1992.
Johnnie worked for Frito Lay in Topeka for 4 years. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs football fan and enjoyed watching the Royals as well. In his younger years he also played a lot of baseball. Johnnie loved to spend time with his niece and nephew and when they were younger, play backyard football together at family gatherings.
Johnnie is survived by his loving parents, John and Carolyn; his sister, Sherlyn (Brian) Rogers; niece, Emma Rogers; nephew, Jack Rogers; and his two beloved fur babies Romeo and Sebastian.
Private Graveside Service will take place at the Prairie Home Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society and sent in care of Parker Price Funeral Home.
