OBITUARY: John W. Holler
John Walter Holler, 69, Topeka, passed away Tues., Oct. 9, 2007, at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born May 18, 1938, in Topeka, the son of George W. and Amy I. (Haldeman) Holler.
John graduated from Seaman High School in 1956. He owned and operated Holler Oil Co. along with his father. He later worked for the Santa Fe Railroad and the State of Kansas.
John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sally (Kinnaird) Holler; their children and spouses. Cammy and Sam Houston of Wichita, George F. and Aline Holler of Overland Park, Johnnie Holler & Greg Rudolph of Hutchinson; and grandchildren: Garrett and Jake Houston, Sidney and Benjamin Holler, and Shawnsey Rudolph.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Fri., Oct. 12, 2007, at Prairie Home Cemetery, NW 35th & Menoken Road, Topeka. John will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thursday, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.
