John R. Hickman

John “Johnny” Robert Hickman, age 55, of Topeka, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.  Johnny was born December 28, 1966 at Fitchburg, Massachusetts the son of John and Patricia (Peter) Hickman.  Johnny married Billy Jo Reagan, they later divorced.  He married Cheryl McCluskey August 7, 2021.  Johnny worked as a welder for Ernest-Spencer.  Recently he worked for Berry Global.  He loved motorcycles, gardening, and the Chicago Bears.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Hickman; four sons, John (Rachel) Reagan of Virginia Beach, VA, David (Melissa) Hickman of Chesapeake, VA, Scotty (Ashley) Hickman of Chesapeake, VA, and Caleb Hickman of Topeka; a stepson, Tyler Mosimann of Topeka; a daughter, Jennifer (Pedro) Martinez of Chesapeake, VA; a stepdaughter, Racheal Boyd of Topeka; five brothers, Robert “Bobby” Hickman of Chesapeake, VA, Karl Hickman of Virginia Beach, VA, Mark Hickman of Georgia; William “Billy” Hickman of West Palm Beach, FL and James “Jim” Hickman of North Carolina; two sisters, Barbara Holmes of New York and Tammy Aea of North Carolina and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Davidson Funeral Home.
