OBITUARY: John LeClair Kidwell
John L. Kidwell, 45, Topeka, died Sun., June 6, 2010, while fishing at Lake La Cygne. He was born Dec. 23, 1964, at Fort Riley the son of Edwin L. and Anna L. (Rignell) Kidwell. John served in the Army National Guard 714th Maintenance Co. He was a conductor for the BNSF Railroad and was a member of Countryside Christian Church. Surviving are his wife: Christina L. (Frederick) Kidwell; a daughter: Jessica Louise Kidwell; 2 sons: Phillip LeClair Kidwell and Michael John Kidwell; and 2 brothers: David R. Kidwell and Dennis J. Kidwell. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Fri., June 11, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave. Interment in Rossville Cemetery with full military honors conducted by Kansas National Guard Military Funeral Honor Team. John will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
