John H. Folds, Jr.

John H. Folds, Jr., 57, of Ozawkie, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017. John was born February 15, 1960 in Topeka the son of John and Anna E. Folds. He graduated from Hayden High School in 1978. He worked for over 25 years at Hills Pet Food and later for Smuckers, before becoming ill.
He had a lifelong collection of beer signs filling his Morton Building, loved riding his Harley, enjoyed going to flea markets and fishing. When he built his home at Ozawkie in 1998, one of the first projects was to build and complete a pond that he stocked himself. He looked forward to watching Survivor on TV with his wife.
John married Cindy on August 8, 1995 in Las Vegas. She survives at their home. He is also survived by his children; George Hearne of Topeka and Brandy Scales (Corey) of Topeka; his dad, John H. Folds, Sr., of Topeka, sister, Sandy Flower (Earl) of Ozawkie; one brother, Brian Folds (Gena); nephew Mitchell Flower of Topeka and six grandchildren and his Maltese, BooBoo.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna and a nephew, Matthew Flower, and a niece Jennifer Flower.
Memorial services will be held at Davidson Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Private family inurnment at Mount Calvary Cemetery will be held on a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
