John Damerval

John W. Damerval, 62, of Ozawkie, passed away, Saturday, October 8, 2005 at Stormont-Vail Hospital, Topeka.
He was born February 3, 1943 in What Cheer, Iowa the son of John F. and Jessie Wilcox Damerval.
He served in the United States Air Force. He was stationed four years at Forbes Air Base.
John had worked as a tax accountant and later Director of Taxes for the Santa Fe Railroad. He retired following 30 years of service.
He married Marcella Eberting July 17, 1965. She survives. Other survivors include, his children, John Chris Damerval and his wife Susan, St. Joseph, MO; Scott A. Damerval, Topeka; grandchildren, Gracie and Rachael Damerval; mother, Jessie Damerval, Ottumwa, Iowa; siblings, Joyce Goeke and Jeffrey Damerval both of Ottumwa; and JoAnn Smith, Des Moines, Iowa.
Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 12, 2005 at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka.
