JoAnna R. Davidson, 78, Topeka, passed away at home on Mon., March 5, 2012, after a 14 month battle with cancer.
JoAnna was born in Topeka, on Sept. 20, 1933, the daughter of Erivin and Mamie (Gardner) Mack (deceased). She attended Topeka High School. On May 7, 1953, she married Joseph A. Davidson in Holton. JoAnna was a homemaker. They were married 57 years when Joe preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her daughter, Susan Dianne Davidson, on Feb. 11, 2011; a sister Irene Starkey; and three brothers: James, Alvin, and Robert Mack.
Survivors include her daughter: Anna M. Enneking of Topeka; nieces: Kathy Hanson and Mary Irving (Don); and nephew: Tom Starkey (Sammie). JoAnna will lie in state from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Thurs., March 8, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka. Private interment in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
