OBITUARY: Joanna Kaye (Simpson) Harris
Joanna Kaye (Simpson) Harris, 57, Topeka, died Sun., June 1, 2008, in Overland Park. She was born May 30, 1951, in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph L. and H. Maxine (Bills) Simpson.
Joanna graduated from Seaman High School in 1969, and Clark's School of Business. She worked for the State of Kansas, Department of Revenue for over 30 years.
Surviving are a brother: Kenneth L. Simpson of Topeka; a niece; a nephew; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 PM, Thurs., June 5, 2008, at West Lawn Memorial Gardens. Joanna will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Wed., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
