JoAnn H. (Brees) Judd , 65, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020 from Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
JoAnn was born on October 29, 1954, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Delmer and Nettie Brees. She graduated from Highland Park High School, the class of 1972.
On November 6, 1971, JoAnn was united in marriage to Allen Judd.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Allen Judd; daughter, Angela (Judd) Knapp; son, Anthony Judd; 4 grandchildren (Zoey, Cortin, Jaece and Payton); sister, Debbie Kerley; and brothers, Leroy and Ronnie Brees.
JoAnn was employed at Blue Cross Blue Shield, Menninger Clinic, and New Directions, but found her passion as a lunch lady at West Indianola Elementary School.
The family will hold private services at a later date. Burial will be at Half Day Cemetery.
