OBITUARY: Jewell G. Turner McCall
Mrs. Jewell Geneatha Turner McCall, 85, Meriden, died Sat., Sept. 1, 2007, at Midland Hospice House, Topeka. She was born Feb. 28, 1922, at Elsmore, the daughter of Lewis G. and Viola F. (Cole) Head.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law: Geneatha A. and George W. Stevens of Topeka; a son and daughter-in-law: Lloyd W. and Neva S. Turner of La Harpe; a brother and sister-in-law: Cecil D. and Connie Norman of Fall River; a sister: Lucille Fewins of Lawrence; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tues., Sept. 4, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, at Colony Cemetery. Jewell will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Monday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
