Jewell Doraine Morrow
Jewell Doraine Morrow, 71, of Ozawkie, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at Saint Francis Hospital, Topeka. She was born February 6, 1944, at Heartville, SC, the daughter of Howard Edward and LaBelle May (Norris) Hopkins.
Jewell graduated from High School at Camden, SC. She lived in New Mexico moving to Ozawkie in 1980. Before retiring Jewell worked for the State of Kansas, Title and Registration of Vehicles.
She was married to David John Morrow on September 1, 1963, at Camden, SC. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, LaBelle "Kaye" Brookland.
Surviving are her children: Wesley Arol Morrow (Sarah Chaplin) of Topeka, and Shelly Doreen Blick of Valley Falls; and five grandchildren: Joshua Morrow, Tiarra Wells, Jesse Blick, Abby Blick, and Hannah Blick.
Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, 15295 K-4 Highway, Valley Falls, KS 66608.
