Jessie Lee (Renyer) Stehlin, 95, of Silver Lake, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
She was born November 21, 1928, in Burlingame, Kansas, the daughter of Jesse and Edna (Masters) Renyer.
She graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1946.
Jessie was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, Silver Lake Senior Citizens, Silver Lake United Methodist Church, and the Telephone Pioneers.
She worked for Southwestern Bell for 35 years as a teller.
Jessie married Herman A. Stehlin on May 26, 1948 in Topeka, KS. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2003.
Survivors include her daughter, Eileen (Jay) Yinger; grandchildren, Tammy Yinger and Jennie (Stan) Sexton; great-grandchildren, Tanner Ungeheuer, Michael (Casey) Bodine, and Edwin Sexton and great-great-grandchildren, Jaydyn, Isaiah, Rylan Ungeheuer and Bentley and Anna Jean Bodine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herman A. Stehlin, son, William D. Stehlin and sister, Charlotte Ann Hernandez.
A Funeral Ceremony will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Parker-Price & Davidsons 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka, KS 66608. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, in Topeka.
