Dad and Mom were inseparable; you could never talk about one without mentioning the other. They loved their family and were very generous, humble, and hard working. Together they enjoyed many friendships throughout their years.
While growing up on a farm he learned many mechanical skills. Jerry was the go to mechanic, anywhere from cars to lawnmowers – if it had a motor he could fix it.
Dad helped coach many of our Ken Berry baseball teams, where life-long friendships were developed.
In his spare time he enjoyed golfing with his buddies, family vacations with the Golden's, spending time with his family, attending grandkids activities, going back home on the weekends, and walking at the mall.
After Mom passed, Dad looked forward to spending Sunday afternoons with Jerri Ann and Randy, relaxing and enjoying her cooking; eating lunch on Thursday with Jay, arguing whose turn it was to buy; playing cards with Kent, Susan, and the grandkids; and fishing with all the kids at Jay and Chris's pond.
"Always work on being happy" ~ Dad
