OBITUARY: Jerrold Ray "Jerry" Neill
Jerry Neill, 58, Grantville, died Sun., April 8, 2007, at his home. He was born May 5, 1948, at Chanute the son of Ray and Helen (Richardson) Neill.
He had worked at the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. Plant for 30 years before retiring for health reasons. He was a member of Christian Cavalry Ministries International of Grantville; Local # 307; and Goodyear Post # 2187, V.F.W.
Jerry was married to Carolyn Sue (Roberts) who survives of the home. Other survivors include 2 sons: Todd Neill and Kenneth Myrick both of Topeka; a daughter: Christina Neill of Topeka; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Fri., April 13, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence. Interment will be in Mission Center Cemetery. Jerry will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
