Jeng Shyong Ke, 74, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2016, in Topeka, KS.
Jeng was born on February 28, 1941, in Hsinchu, Taiwan, to Zi Shou and Chen-Chou Ke. In 1974, he received his PhD degree from Syracuse University in New York. Jeng was an engineer for 26 years with Boeing, in Wichita, KS. He enjoyed ballroom dancing, yoga, table tennis, swimming, and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Hsiang Lan Ke; daughter, Victoria (Scott) Bonney; and grandson, Jacob Bonney.
Jeng was preceded in death by his son, Calvin Ke.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608.
