Jeannine Lee Ketter, 90, of Topeka passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2024. Jeannine was born on April 8, 1934 in Leavenworth, Kansas. The family moved to a farm north of Topeka in 1936. She attended North Highland Grade School and graduated from Seaman High School in 1952. She worked for several doctors and dentists in the Topeka area before retiring.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, Reba and Ed Ketter, brother Alan Ketter and sister Mary Lou Ketter Shirley all of Topeka.
She is survived by her brother, Richard Ketter and wife Marikay Kraft Ketter of Maumelle, Arkansas; sister Nancy Ketter (Combs) of Topeka; nieces Julie Shirley Elwell and Beth Combs Berkstresser of Topeka; nephews, Barry Shirley of Berryton, Daniel Ketter of Little Rock, Arkansas, David Combs and Michael Combs both of Topeka.
Per Jeannine’s wishes she will be buried at Prairie Home Cemetery with her family in a private service.
