Jeannie Lee Bingham
SCRANTON - Jeannie Lee Bingham, 62, Scranton, died Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. She was born Nov. 27, 1941, in Hannibal, Mo., the daughter of Simon Houston and Bertha Lee Breedlove Webb. She graduated from Topeka High School. She lived 11 years in the Carbondale area. Mrs. Bingham worked at K-Mart for more than 23 years as a sales associate. She married Allan Glenn Bingham on Jan. 21, 1960, in Topeka. She was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Amber L. Cobb and Trystina L. Bingham; a brother, Raymond L. Webb; and parents, Simon Houston and Bertha Lee Webb. Survivors include her husband, Allan Glenn Bingham, Scranton; three sons, Allan Gene Bingham, Osage City, Clark Houston Bingham, Carbondale, and Aaron Wade Bingham, Topeka; two daughters, Kimberly Ann Reynolds, Carbondale, and Trina Raelea Davidson, Scranton; a brother, Bernie F. Webb, Scranton; and 10 grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rochester Cemet ery. Mrs. Bingham will lie in state after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, 1221 S.W. 17th St., Topeka, 66606.
