Jeanie Lee Smith

Jeanie Lee Smith, 48, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. She was born April 8, 1965, in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Sharon Rae (Lake) and Keith Lee Coffman, Sr.

Jeanie graduated from Highland Park High School and received her C.N.A. from Kaw Area Vo-Tech. She watched over her grandchildren. She was an avid Elvis fan. She had friends from around the world on facebook.

Surviving are two sons: James Frederick Smith (Ashleigh) and Timothy Lee Smith; her mother: Sharon R. Coffman; a brother: Keith Lee Coffman, Jr. (Lisa); and two grandchildren: Mary-Louise Katharine Smith and Jamison Christopher Smith, all of Topeka.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 24, 2014, at Rochester Cemetery, 1200 NW Menninger Road, Topeka, Kansas.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, Monday, February 24, 2014, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka, Kansas.
