OBITUARY: Jeanette Muriel Hash Welsh
Jeanette Muriel Hash Welsh, 66, Topeka, died Tues., Nov. 4, 2008, at Midland Hospice House. She was born June 24, 1942, in Axtell, the daughter of Dr. C .B. and Ruby Bieri Hash. She graduated from Seneca Public High School and Gaards Business School, St. Joseph, MO.
Jeanette is a member of the Seaman Congregational Church in Topeka.
She was married to Roland Douglas Welsh on May 6, 1961. They lived in Kansas City, KS, from 1961 to 1964. They have been residents of Topeka since 1964.
She is survived by her husband, Doug, of the home; 2 children: Jeffrey Douglas Welsh (Angela) and Jill Diane Fitzgibbons (Scott) all of Topeka; 4 grandchildren: Conner and Tanner Welsh and Jaci and Brynn Fitzgibbons, all of Topeka; and a brother: Donald Lee Hash of Beckville, TX.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Fri., Nov. 7, 2008, at Seaman Congregational Church. Committal services will be at 2:00 PM, Fri., at Seneca Public Cemetery. Jeanette will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, Topeka where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Seaman Congregational Church Endowment Fund, 2036 NW Taylor, Topeka, KS 66608-1941, Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606-2800, or the charity of choice.
