Jeanette Lorae Lohrbach
1956 – 2023
Jeanette Lorae Lohrbach, 67, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Stormont Vail Hospital.
She was born June 30, 1956 in Topeka, Kansas, daughter of Terrance and Flora (Kintz) Lohrbach, deceased. She grew up in Meriden, and graduated from Jefferson West High School. She graduated from Washburn University with a BA in Education in 1978. Later she earned a CNA and LPN degree.
Ms. Lohrbach taught elementary education for years and then worked in healthcare.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Topeka, Kansas. She loved the Lord and was passionate about sharing His good word with others. She loved playing cards with the many Women’s Christian card game groups throughout Topeka. She had a quick wit about her and was an avid “The Beatles” fan since an early age collecting Beatle albums and memorabilia and was a lifetime member of The GetB.A.C.K. Beatles Appreciation Club of Kansas.
Survivors include her four siblings, Susan Danko and her husband Kevin of North Augusta, SC, Linda McCauley and her husband Roger of Topeka, KS, her brother James Lohrbach of Meriden, KS, and her brother Joseph and his wife Lois of Meriden, KS, five nieces and nephews, Heather and her husband Dustin Fett of San Antonio, TX, Amanda and her husband Jason East, Topeka, KS, Terrance Joseph (TJ) Lohrbach, Manhattan, KS, Daniel and his wife Audra Lohrbach, Silver Lake, KS, Dustin and his wife Brooke Wade, Georgetown, SC, five great nieces and nephew, Madison Butler, McKenzie Butler, Marissa East, Ryan Marie Lohrbach, and Dustin Wade, Jr., two step nephews, Stephen Danko and Bryan and his wife MaKailah Danko, and five step great nieces, Megan East, Madison East, Mackenzie East, Chloe Fett, and Alexandria Danko, two step great great nieces. Aunt Jeanette loved and adored all of these special children. She will be dearly missed.
The family will greet friends at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Davidson Funeral Home, burial will follow at the Meriden Cemetery, Meriden, KS.
