Jean Riddle Miller

. Jean Elizabeth Riddle Miller, 86, died May 13, 2012 in Topeka, KS. She was born Sept. 10, 1925 in Meriden. KS, to John and Mollie (Reep) Riddle. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Carolyn Jean Serry, and all of her siblings, six brothers and two sisters. As a school girl in Meriden she won the Jefferson County Spelling Bee. Jean became an accomplished piano player, playing for weddings and special occasions. Jean also enjoyed studying the bible, growing flowers, completing puzzles, visiting family and friends and genealogy research. Surviving are many nephews and nieces from around the world. Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM, Friday June 15, 2012, at Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., Topeka.
