J.D. Daniels

J.D. Daniels, age 84, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 in Topeka. He was born March 9, 1933 in Pottsville, Arkansas the son of Leonard and Hazel Hoffstetter Daniels. J.D. served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. He worked for DuPont Cellophane plant in Tecumseh for over 27 years, retiring as the manufacturing area superintendent in 1985. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca and a son, Stuart. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, of over 42 years; three sons, Phillip, David and Preston Daniels, all of Topeka; two daughters, Suzanne Benoit of Hoyt and Christine Daniels of Oregon and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. J.D. was a member of the Oakland Presbyterian Church.
