Jay M. Teske

Jay M. Teske, age 57, of Topeka, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at his home in Topeka.  Jay was born October 1, 1964 in Topeka the son of Sheldon and Norma (Osburn) Teske.  Jay attended Highland Park High School.  He married Dana Osborne September 9, 1989, they later divorced.  Jay worked as a chef for various restaurants, such as Shawnee Country Club, Emporia Country Club, Manhattan Country Club and the former Top of the Tower in Topeka.  Jay enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports.  He attended the former Hope Lutheran Church in Topeka.

He was preceded in by his parents and a brother, Marc Teske.  He is survived by three sons, Zachariah Teske, Nicholas Teske and Austin Teske; and two brothers, Jeff (Kim) Teske and Brian (Melanie) Teske, along with several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life services will be Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Lake Shawnee Shelter House #6, which is on the east side of the lake, 3621 SE East Edge Road, Topeka, KS 66605.
