Jarrod Bryan Lowe, 45, Topeka, died Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at his home. He was born May 6, 1968, in Topeka.

He graduated from Jefferson West High School in 1987, and attended Kaw Area Vo-Tech.

Jarrod loved his dog, Socks; and liked to fish and hunt. He never let his disabilities hold him back. He was a very giving person.

Surviving are his parents: James F. "Pete" and Darlene K. (Moore) Lowe of Topeka; a sister: Jody Godfrey (Darold) of Topeka; a brother: Jeff Lowe (Karie) of Meriden; four nephews: Jordan Lowe, Jace Lowe, Dalton Godfrey, and Dalton Knoll; two nieces: Kelsie Russell and Dru Godfrey; aunts and uncles: Charlotte and Elmer Epperson, Emily Roberson, Buddy and Bonnie Lowe, and Marie and Doc Marshburn.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 22, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Interment in Rochester Cemetery.

Jarrod will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
