Janis Correll, 63, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at a local hospital.
Janis was born April 25, 1955 in Lawrence, the daughter of Herman and Thelma Mills.
She was very active in the C.W.A. union, having served as Steward and Vice President.
Survivors include her children, Carrie (Charlie) Snow, Kelli (Jesse) Page, all of Topeka, Dustin (Renae) Lee, Perry; 9 grandchildren; and siblings, Sharon Tefft, Patricia Roberts, Robert Mills, Edward Mills, Michael Mills and Steven Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her best friend, Anita McVay.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Parker-Price Funeral Home, 245 NW Independence. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 19, 2018.
