Janice "Jan" S. Shultz

Janice “Jan” Sue Shultz, age 79, of Topeka, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Stormont Vail Hospital.  Jan was born July 21, 1941 in Clay Center, Kansas the daughter of Robert and Helen (Buck) Bertrand.  Jan graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1959.  She married Jack Shultz June 5, 1960 in Hutchinson, KS.  Jan worked alongside her husband, Jack, as the secretary of his law firm.  Jan was a member of the Grace Community Church in Dodge City, KS and was recently a member of Topeka Bible Church.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, crocheting.  She also enjoyed playing cards and games with her family.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Ryan and Joshua.  She is survived by her husband, Jack of over 61 years; three sons, Chris (Annette) Shultz of Eudora, Tim (Melissa) Shultz of Topeka and Nathan (Sarah) Shultz of Alexandria, VA; a daughter, Melissa (Mark) Robertson of Chickamauga, GA; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Topeka Bible Church.  Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Bible Church. www.davidsonfuneral.com
