Janet Usher

Janet Sue Heston Usher, 76, born in Topeka, Kansas on March 16, 1945 and died May 8, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband John K. Usher, Sr (married June 1, 1963); her parents Carl and Marge Heston; and two siblings Carl Heston, Jr. and Norma Hull-Davidson.

She enjoyed being a homemaker and caregiver.  She loved jewelry beadwork, baking, sewing, stained glass, ceramics and crafts of all kinds. She volunteered at both Cub Scout and Girl Scout Day Camps and volunteered briefly at the Topeka Tool Lending Library.  She loved her family and was an awesome Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Joanne Weddle of Topeka, KS and John (Kim) Usher of Burlington, KS; grandchildren Arianna Usher, Sean Weddle, Mary (Seth) Moler, Kelly Weddle, Rory Post-Weddle and great grandchildren, Adin, Zain and Torvi Moler.  She is also survived by her siblings Paul (Joyce) Heston, Carol (Bruce) White and Mary Jo (Jim) Hastings.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Davidson Funeral Home.
