Janet C. Savage

Janet Christine Savage, 60, of Topeka passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. She was born in Seattle, Washington the daughter of Wesley F. and Kafoko Terhune.  She lived in Washington and Junction City before moving to Topeka thirty years ago.  She enjoyed taking walks, crochet, reading, history and loved learning.  She will be remembered for lending a helping hand, and doing for others.   Janet had two dogs she dearly loved Coco and Hero.  She was a faithful member of her church. Lighthouse on the Rock. She taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir.

She married Jack C. Savage II in 2010 in Topeka. Jack survived at their home in Topeka.

Other survivors include her daughters, Jessica Nance and husband Michael of Lawton, Oklahoma and Jacquelyn Cooper and husband Isaiah of Bentonville, Arkansas; one grandchild, Liam Nance; two brothers, Rick Terhune and wife, Karen in California and Ed Terhune and wife Cindy in Washington.

The family will receive friends on Monday March 27, 2023, from 10-11:00 am on Monday morning at Lighthouse on the Rock prior to the funeral service which will begin at 11:00 am.  Lighthouse on the Rock is located at 3860 SE California, Topeka, Kansas 66609.
