James L. Michael

James L. Michael, 58, of Topeka died on Thursday, August 23, 2018.   He was born March 19, 1960 in Topeka the son of Guy and Dorothy Lamond Michael. He was raised in Topeka and graduated from high school at Silver Lake. James was an iron worker by trade, working on communication towers.   He was married to Vickie Bowen in 1985, they later divorced.   He is survived by his brothers and sister, Fred Michael (Kathy) of Topeka, Guy Michael of Paxico, Kansas, Howard Michael of Paola, Kansas, Steve Michael (Debbie) of Topeka; and his sister, Connie Garrison (Ed) of Topeka; step-son, Dustin Oblander; and grandchildren, Allica, Blayne and Cray Woosley.

A celebration of James’ life will be held at Garfield Park Community Center on September 8, 2018 from 4-7 pm Davidson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
