Obituary - James Ronald Littek
James Ronald Littek, 71, Topeka, died at St. Francis Medical Center, Fri., Mar. 14, 2008. He was born Oct. 5, 1936, at Ford City, PA. He served with the Army military police and various law enforcement agencies.
He married Clara E. Forman on Apr. 10, 1998, in Kansas City. He was a member of VFW Post 1650, Cooties, Topeka North Post # 400 of the Amercian Legion, and the Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Amy Johns; sons, Ronald and Mike Littek, all of Virginia; step-daughters, Donna Quick, Kansas City, MO, Janice Meyers, Topeka; 2 grandsons; 5 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Melva Moss, Mt. Zion, IL.
Graveside services will be Wed. Mar. 19, 2008, at 1:30 pm at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Wadsworth, where Topeka North Post of the American Legion will conduct military honors. James will lie in state after 3:00 pm Tues. at the Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where family will receive friends 6:30-7:30. Memorial contributions may be made to Amercian Legion, 3029 NW Highway 24, Topeka 66618.
