James "Jimmy" N. Lassen

James “Jimmy” N. Lassen, 67, of Topeka passed away at his home on Thursday, December 16, 2021, surrounded by loved ones.  He was born April 26, 1955 at Parsons, Kansas the son James L. Lassen and Margaret D. (Hoskins) Lassen.   He was raised in Topeka most of his life.  He loved anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, old-time bike rides. He also enjoyed the time spent with friends and family.

Jimmy worked as a machine technician for Southwest Publishing for 13 years before retiring to spend time with loved ones.

He is survived by his wife Suzi Dougan of Topeka; children, Capp L. Lassen of Nebraska, James Benjamin Lassen of Topeka, and Casey Jimenez (Justin) of Topeka; his mother, Margaret D. Lassen of Topeka; two sisters, Becky Centlivre and Jane Lassen, both of Topeka; grandchildren, Shelbie, Elisienna, Jace, Jax, Kameron and Consuela, along with great grandbabies.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Davidson Funeral Home.
