OBITUARY: James J. Wyman
James J. Wyman, 88, Topeka, died April 13, 2010. He was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Washington County. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Jim was owner/operator of the John Deere Dealership and also was a realtor in Topeka. He was a member of the Moose, VFW, and American Legion. He was preceded by 2 wives, Olive and D. Barbara. Surviving children: J.D. Wyman, Sandrae Jaynes, Rita d'Angelo, Robin Hook, Thomas Moore, and William Moore; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Mon., April 19, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth. Military honors will be conducted by Philip Billard Post # 1650, VFW. Jim will lie in state after 2:00 PM, Sun., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave.
