Jacqueline A. Slawson
Jacqueline A. Slawson, 44, Topeka, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 20, 2004. She was born on Nov. 17, 1959, at Topeka. Jackie graduated from Topeka High School in 1977. She graduated in 1994 from Rhema Bible Training Center, Broken Arrow, Okla., and later earned a BBA from Baker University. Jackie was active in church. She had ministered in prisons, nursing homes and had been on several Macedonian Ministry trips. She was a member of Topeka Bible Church. Surviving are her parents, Charles and Frances Slawson, Meriden. Memorial services will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lake Shawnee Gazebo near S.E. 37th and West Edge Road. Memorial contributions may be sent to Samaritan Purse, 514 S.W. Garfield, Topeka, Kan. 66606.
