Isabelle "Issie" Bowers

Isabelle “Issie” Bowers, age 85, of Silver Lake, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Midland Hospice Care.  Issie was born February 8, 1933 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey the daughter of Joseph and Isabelle Cook.  She graduated from High School there in New Jersey.  Issie worked at Hallmark Cards in Topeka for over 20 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and a sister.  She is survived by her companion of many years, Phil Runkle of Silver Lake, along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her cats.
