Irma Freed

Irma Ruth Freed, 79, of Topeka, passed away, Sunday, September 11, 2005 at Midland Hospice House. She was born July 11, 1926 in Circleville, KS, the daughter of Gaylon Raymond and Mary Leona Casebeer Stanton.

Irma will be missed deeply by her family and friends.

She married Charles L. Freed March 14, 1949 in Reno, NV. He survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Daryl Freed, Topeka; Dennis Freed, Lecompton; a daughter, Susan Kerwin, Ozawkie; a sister, Louise Ball, Topeka; a brother, William L. Stanton, Kansas City, KS; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel. Interment will be in Rochester Cemetery.

Mrs. Freed will lie in state after 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel in North Topeka where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
