Iris E. Price, 91, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
She was born May 26, 1927, in Lyndon, Kansas, the daughter of Neville and Bethel (Bickell) Basel. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1947.
Mrs. Price was a member of the Kansas Avenue United Methodist Church and former Women of the Moose.
Iris married Edward J. Price on May 27, 1948 in Topeka, KS. He preceded her in death. Survivors include four children: Edward "Jim" (Karlin) Price, Jr., Topeka; Sherry Neely, Sturkie, AR; Eldon (Mary) Price, Topeka and Brian Price, Topeka; daughter-in-law, Sally Price, Michigan; two sisters, Rowena Scarboro, Topeka and Judy (Don) McCoy, Leavenworth; 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her Son, David "Mike" Price.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 4, 2018 at Parker-Price Cremations, Funerals & Receptions. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Avenue United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association.
