OBITUARY: Imogene May Cunningham
Imogene May Cunningham, 79, Topeka, died Sat., June 26, 2010. She was born Sept. 27, 1930,, in Topeka, the daughter of Earnest R. and Florence P. (Powell) Patterson. She was married to Christopher H. Cunningham on April 5, 1951, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1998. Surviving are 2 sons: John C. Cunningham and Richard A. Cunningham both of Topeka; a daughter: Kathy Lea Roberts of Topeka; a brother: Charles "Bud" Patterson of Harveyville; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Fri., July 2, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth. Imogene will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Ave., where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 PM.
