Howard Harvey

Howard Harvey, 92, of Topeka passed away on September 10, 2023.   He was born August 19, 1931 in Missoula, Montana.   Howard was raised in Bremerton, Washington graduating from high school in 1950.  He loved to box and won the Olympic Peninsula Championship that year, after which he served two years in the United States Army.   During his four plus decades in Topeka, he worked as a roofing foreman for 20 years at Goodyear, retiring in 1993.   He loved Jesus, KU basketball, people and life.  Howard had attended Topeka Bible Church.

He is survived by his son Derek Harvey of Wichita and close friend and caregiver, Connie Hall of Topeka and two grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Graveside Service and Interment will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 14th, at Mount Hope Cemetery. www.davidsonfuneral.com
