OBITUARY: Homer Y. Wellman
Homer Youell Wellman, 80, Topeka, died Tues., Oct. 23, 2007, at Eventide Convalescent Center. He was born Oct. 4, 1927, at Hillsboro, IL, the son of Homer D. and Mabel Wellman.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 32 years, and then was truck driver.
Committal services will be at 10:00 AM, Fri., Oct. 26, 2007, at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel. The U.S. Marine Corps will conduct military honors. Homer will lie in state from 3:00 to 8:30 PM, Thursday, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence.
