Henry Russell Collins

Henry Russell Collins, 64, Meriden, Kansas, died Thursday, July 7, 2016, at Midland Hospice House. He was born October 6, 1951, in Independence, Kansas, the son of Ernest John and Ora Glenn (Wilson) Collins.

Henry graduated from Seaman High School. He worked for the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company Plant for over 40 years, retiring on December 17, 2013. He was a member of Local 307.

He was married to Debbie Lundry on June 22, 1974, in Topeka.

Surviving are his wife: Debbie of the home; his children: Erin Olson of Topeka, Brent Collins of Topeka; and grandchildren: Tyler and Mollie Olson of Topeka. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister.

Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2016, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
