OBITUARY: Helen Marie Penny-Burney
Helen left this earth for eternal life on Sept. 9th, 2007, after an extended illness. She was born in Caldwell, TX, to Ida Mae Dotson and Henry Penny. She moved to Topeka from Salina, KS in 1965. Helen worked various positions in the health field for many years. She married William Burney in 1978, and he died in 1982. Helen is surved by her children: Nathaniel, Natalie, and Teena Penny of Topeka.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Fri., Sept. 14, 2007, at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth. Helen will lie in state after 3:00 PM, Thurs., at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
